Ameren Missouri filed a new general rate case on June 26, 2026 seeking a net increase of about 343 million dollars in annual electric base rate revenue, citing storm hardening, grid upgrades and new generation to meet rising demand including from data centers. The company says this would add about 13 dollars a month to a typical residential bill. Missouri's review process typically runs about 11 months, so new rates, if approved, would not begin until mid-2027.
