Ameren Missouri asked the PSC in July 2024 for about 446.2 million dollars more in annual electric revenue, a 15.77 percent increase the company said would add 17.45 dollars a month to a typical residential bill. The Commission approved a unanimous settlement on April 23, 2025 for 355 million dollars instead, below the request, and kept the fixed residential customer charge at 9 dollars rather than raising it to the 10.43 dollars Ameren had sought.
What it means for your bill: The final Ameren Missouri increase approved in April 2025 was smaller than the 17.45 dollar figure the company originally requested, and the monthly customer charge did not go up.
