PGE filed a new general rate case in early August 2026 proposing an overall 4.8 percent increase, with new rates expected to take effect July 1, 2027. The company said an average residential household would see its bill rise by about 8.33 dollars a month. The Oregon Public Utility Commission will review the request for about ten months, including public input, before deciding.
