PG&E asked the CPUC for 16.6 billion dollars in total 2027 revenues, an 8 percent increase over 2026, covering both its gas and electric systems. The company estimates that if approved as filed, a typical combined gas and electric residential bill would rise about 3.6 percent in 2027 compared to 2025. The CPUC held public forums on the request in October and November 2025 and expects to rule around May 2027.
