NYSEG asked the PSC for about 93 million dollars more in annual gas revenue, a 22.1 percent total revenue increase that the company says would add 33.57 dollars a month, about 33.5 percent, to a typical heating customer's bill using 83 therms. The Commission set a temporary gas revenue increase of 0.5 percent, in effect since June 1, 2026, while the case continued. Confidential settlement talks between NYSEG and other parties in this joint proceeding resumed in September 2026, with no agreement reached yet.
