Rate cases are decided by the Michigan Public Service Commission, which takes written comments on every docket and holds public hearings on the big ones. Comment deadlines and hearing dates are on each case page above when we have them. The office that argues for households in these cases is the Michigan Attorney General; its filings are the plain-English version of the utility's numbers.
