Avista reached an all party settlement of its Idaho general rate cases that phases in increases over two years. A typical residential electric customer saw a 6.7 percent, 6.95 dollar monthly increase starting September 1, 2025, with a further 4.7 percent, 5.22 dollar monthly increase effective September 1, 2026. Both phases were approved by the Idaho Public Utilities Commission as part of the settlement.
