Puget Sound Energy filed a three year rate plan requesting electric increases of 16.75 percent in 2027, 3.76 percent in 2028 and 8.81 percent in 2029. If approved, a typical residential electric customer using 800 kWh a month would see about a 28 dollar increase starting in early 2027, roughly 7 dollars more in 2028 and nearly 16 dollars more in 2029.
