Utah regulators approved a settlement on July 31, 2026 that raises Rocky Mountain Power's base rates by 3.8 percent, about 93 million dollars a year, but most customers will see a net rate decrease of about 8.7 percent this year because of a separate, larger energy cost credit already in effect. The company commits to not filing another general rate case with rates effective before January 1, 2029, and to invest 2.2 billion dollars in Utah infrastructure through 2028.
