Rocky Mountain Power filed a stipulated settlement that would raise general rates by 93 million dollars, or 4.2 percent, about 3.44 dollars a month for a typical residential customer, while a separate market driven energy charge adjustment cuts about 11 dollars a month, for a net decrease of roughly 7.56 dollars on the average bill. The deal also commits the company to a 2 billion dollar investment plan and to not filing another general rate case with rates effective before January 1, 2029. As of this writing the Public Service Commission had not yet ruled on the settlement.
