OG&E filed a new rate review with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission on September 30, 2026, its first since 2023, seeking a 395 million dollar increase to pay for grid reliability work done since March 2024 and to meet new federal reliability requirements. The company says the request would raise a typical residential bill by about 23.88 dollars a month, a roughly 14 percent total bill increase over rates last set in July 2024. The filing starts a multi month OCC review, with new rates not expected to take effect for about six months; nothing has been decided yet.

What it means for your bill: If approved as filed, this would add about 23.88 dollars a month to a typical OG&E Oklahoma bill; nothing has been decided yet.
