Idaho Power filed its first base rate case in over a decade, asking for a 199.1 million dollar, 13.09 percent overall increase. The Idaho Public Utilities Commission approved a settlement for a smaller 110 million dollar, 7.48 percent annual revenue increase, with a 9.6 percent authorized return on equity, in Order No. 36892 (December 30, 2025) and Final Order No. 36928 (February 5, 2026). New rates took effect January 1, 2026, well below Idaho Power's original ask.
