Delmarva Power settled a natural gas base rate case with the Delaware Public Service Commission, Docket No. 24-1044, with a settlement agreement filed November 13, 2025 and new tariffs effective in January 2026. The approved increase covers about 100.4 million dollars in additional annual gas revenue. This case is separate from Delmarva's annual gas cost rate adjustment, which passes through the wholesale price of gas without markup.

What it means for your bill: Your Delmarva Power gas delivery rates changed starting January 2026 under a settled base rate case; a separate annual gas cost adjustment can also move your bill.
