The filing does not state a typical-bill impact we can verify. We will add one when the commission staff or the consumer advocate publishes it.
Delmarva Power asked the Delaware Public Service Commission for a 67.8 million dollar base rate increase, its third base rate request in five years, filed December 9, 2025. Delaware's Public Advocate says the increase could add roughly 9 to 16 dollars a month to a typical residential bill depending on usage, and an interim rate increase already took effect July 9, 2026 while the case is litigated. Evidentiary hearings are not expected until April 2027.
What it means for your bill: Delmarva Power has an interim rate increase in effect since July 2026 while regulators review a bigger request that could add 9 to 16 dollars a month once fully decided.
