The filing does not state a typical-bill impact we can verify. We will add one when the commission staff or the consumer advocate publishes it.
Eversource sought a 13 to 17 percent increase in delivery and supply rates for about 300,000 NSTAR Gas customers for the 2025-2026 winter, which the company said could have added roughly 41 dollars a month depending on winter severity. The DPU ruled on October 29, 2025 that Eversource had missed 3 of 18 performance benchmarks tied to safety, customer satisfaction and emissions, disallowing 45 million dollars from the request before new rates took effect November 1, 2025, so the actual approved bill impact is lower than the original ask.
What it means for your bill: Eversource's NSTAR Gas customers got a smaller winter rate increase than originally proposed because the company missed several state performance targets.
